How to use and customise the Event Planner Command Centre

Starter Template

Welcome to your planning studio

This is a reusable starter template for freelance event planners, wedding planners, corporate planners and small agencies. It brings enquiries, events, tasks, suppliers and budgets into one calm command centre. All the data you see is generic sample data — no real clients, no real contact details.

Your workflow

1. Capture enquiries

Every new lead starts on the Enquiries page. Record the client's details, event type, date, estimated budget and guest count, then move the status through New → Contacted → Proposal Sent → Won or Lost as things progress.

2. Convert enquiries into events

When an enquiry is won, use the Convert to Event action from the enquiry menu. The event is pre-filled with the client's details, and you're taken straight to its detail page to begin planning.

3. Plan with tasks

Add tasks from the Tasks page or directly on an event's detail page. Set a due date and priority, then use the Overdue and Due This Week filters to keep on top of your workload.

4. Build your supplier directory

Keep venues, caterers, florists and every other supplier in one directory. Mark your favourites as preferred, and set a follow-up date to have them appear on your dashboard when it's time to get in touch.

5. Track budgets

Add budget lines per event with estimated and actual costs. The Budget page shows you spend at a glance, flags lines that run over estimate, and tracks what has and hasn't been paid.

Customising the template

Make it yours

Ask the Base44 assistant to change the colours, fonts, or wording to suit your studio's brand. The palette is defined throughout the app, so a single request such as "change the accent colour to navy" will restyle everything.

Adapt the data

Need extra fields — say, a deposit amount on events, or dietary notes on catering suppliers? Just ask the assistant to add them. You can also rename statuses and categories to match how you work.

Remove the sample data

This template ships with fictional sample records so you can see how everything fits together. Delete them from each page when you're ready to start with your own clients, or ask the assistant to clear them for you.
